The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) was established by the Government of India to promote and regulate the export of agricultural and processed food products. Any person or company involved in exporting such products must obtain an APEDA RCMC (Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate).
This registration acts as a license for exporters and is issued under the Foreign Trade Policy. It is essential for exporting items listed under the APEDA Act such as fruits, vegetables, poultry, meat, and dairy products.
