Upon successful submission, a 17 digits application reference number will be generated for future reference for your Food License / FSSAI License registration.
If a FSSAI license holder is deceased, the license can be shifted to the heir or the legal representative of the dead person. The representative or the family member must apply to the concerned authority to transfer the license in his/her name.

If you didn’t apply for renewal 30 days before the expiry of your existing Food Safety Certificate, a penalty of Rs. 100 per day will be levied, during that 30 day period. In case, your FSSAI number has already expired, you will have to go through the complete process of applying for fresh registration.
