Same State, Same Jurisdiction 

Changing the address within the same state and jurisdiction requires a Resolution (or unanimous partner consent if the LLP agreement is silent) and filing Form 15 with the ROC within 30 days. Critically, no public notice is required for shifts within the same ROC jurisdiction.

Same State, Different Jurisdiction

For a shift to a different jurisdiction within the same state, the LLP must pass a Resolution (or get unanimous partner consent). The LLP must file Form 15 with the original ROC within 30 days and must also submit a copy of the form to the ROC of the new jurisdiction.

Different Jurisdiction, Different State

Moving the office outside the state necessitates a Resolution supported by the consent of all partners and secured creditors. A mandatory public notice must be given in the newspaper at least 21 days before filing the change. The LLP then files Form 15 with the ROC within 30 days of publishing the notice and files a copy with the ROC of the new state.
