What is the validity of E-RCMC Registration under EPCES?

• The validity period for E-RCMC registration under EPCES is five years.
  (Important note: For now the E-RCMC Registration for exporters can be done only for 1 year via EPCES Portal)
• The registration for exporters is valid from the date of issuance of the E-RCMC certificate.
• The RCMC shall be deemed to be valid from 1st April of the licensing year in which it was issued and shall be valid for 5 financial years ending 31st March of the licensing year, unless otherwise is specified.

• The exporter should have active Import-Export Code (IEC) issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).
• The exporter must be engaged in export activities from Export Oriented Units (EOUs) or Special Economic Zones (SEZs).
