A few days ago, an announcement was made by the Income Tax Department that the Income Tax Portal shall have new changes to make return filing easy, faster, and most importantly, user-friendly. The first thing that has come up with the new IT portal is that the taxpayers will have to re-register DSC. Apart from the Re-registration of DSC, the new Income Tax portal has some significant feature that will help the taxpayers. So here are a few changes that came with New Income Tax Portal 2.0.
“Please ensure that you re-register your current valid DSC on the new e-filing portal https://www.incometax.gov.in from June 7th onwards.
The earlier DSC registration on the old portal cannot be migrated due to security and technical reasons.”
Apart from this, there are some other significant changes as follows:
The new portal is all set to be launched and will require a few updates and changes such as re-registration of DSC etc by the taxpayers. The new portal looks promising and is expected to ease the process and hustle earlier faced by the Taxpayers.
