PAN Card for Minor

  • Proof of a Date of Birth of child at the time of an Application.
  • A representative assessee’s address proof must be enclosed.

Process for Minor PAN Card Application Form  

  • Online Application for PAN Card for Minor

    1. Visit the NSDL’s official website.
    2. Choose ‘New PAN – Indian Citizen (Form 49A)’ as the application type and ‘Individual’ as the category.
    3. Fill in all of the details as directed in the Form 49A instructions.
    4. Upload the needed documents as well as the photo.
    5. Click the ‘Submit’ button after paying the fee with a debit card, credit card, demand draught, or net banking.
    6. The application will be given an acknowledgement number that maybe used to track its progress.
    7. In an envelope, enclose all relevant papers (if not already uploaded) as well as the demand draught (if this is the preferred method of payment) and mail it to the Income Tax PAN Services Unit in Pune.
    8. The PAN Card will be issued to the specified address within 10-15 working days after the application has been verified.
