Yes, an e-commerce business can be started under a Partnership Firm and the Firm’s name and logo can be registered under the Trademark Act. Once the name of the firm is registered under Trademark Act, no limited Company will be allowed to register under that name as the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) will approve only the names which are not already registered under MCA and/or Trademark Act.
