In GST, the Geo-coding feature is available for all taxpayers. The system generates the geocoded address based on the latitude and longitude information provided by the taxpayer. The taxpayer can either accept the system-generated geocoded address or update it as per their requirements. The geocoded address details are saved separately under the “Principal Geocoded” tab on the GST portal. The Geo-coding feature is a one-time activity, and revision in the address is not allowed once submitted.
