• Non-filing of TDS return: A penalty of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 1 lakh can be imposed for non-filing of TDS return.
• Non-deduction of TDS: A penalty equal to the amount of the Tax Deducted at Source that should have been deducted can be imposed for non-deduction of TDS.
