Extension in the due date for various GST Compliance amid COVID-19 crises

The second wave of COVID-19 has affected India in a more severe manner. Though there is no complete lockdown in the country as it was given last year, the stakeholders and taxpayers are facing difficulties in managing their day-to-day business. Keeping in view the current situation, the Government has extended the due dates of various compliances by Taxpayers under GST, through Central Tax. In this article, we have mentioned all extensions in due dates for GST return filing.

The due date for Filing of Form ITC-04: The due date for filing of Form GST ITC-04 (to be filed by Principal/Manufacturer for goods sent/received/supplied from Job Worker) for the quarter Jan-March, 2021, (due date 25th April 2021) has been extended till 31st May 2021

 

Not only the Government has given relief by granting an extension in GST return filing due dates, but the Government has extended due dates for various Income Tax Filings as well to facilitate and reduce the burden of the taxpayers and stakeholders in this chaotic situation.
