Are We Still Unable to Incorporate an LLP in India?

Doors for new LLP Registration were opened on Ministry of Corporate Affairs on 2nd of October, 2018. With the intention of making the process seamless, the following changes have been proposed:

1. Introduction of Form RUN-LLP (Reserve Unique Name – Limited Liability Partnership)’ replacing the erstwhile Form 1 (Application for reservation or change of name).
2. Introduction of a new integrated Form FiLLiP (Form for incorporation of Limited Liability Partnership) replacing the erstwhile Form 2 (Incorporation document and subscriber’s statement) combining 3 services i.e.,

• Name reservation
• Allotment of Designated Partner Identification Number (DPIN/DIN)
• Incorporation of the LLP
